Every concrete pour is different. Our rates are based on the pump required, project location, expected concrete volume, site access, pumping distance and estimated time onsite.

REQUESTING A QUOTE

To help us provide an accurate price and allocate the correct equipment, please provide:

• Project location and site address
• Type of project or concrete pour
• Estimated concrete quantity in cubic metres
• Required pumping distance or access conditions
• Concrete strength and mix details
• Preferred pour date and starting time
• Site contact and concreter’s details
• Any known powerlines, traffic-management requirements or site restrictions

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Depending on the project, additional charges may apply for:

• Weekend, public-holiday and after-hours work
• Overtime or extended time onsite
• Travel outside our standard service area
• Accommodation and remote-project expenses
• Delays or standby time outside Mammoth’s control
• Additional pipeline, equipment or labour
• Late cancellations or booking changes

All quoted rates are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

CUSTOMER AND SITE RESPONSIBILITIES

To help us complete the job safely and efficiently, the customer or principal contractor must provide:

• Safe, clear and suitable access for the concrete pump
• A firm, stable and reasonably level pump setup area
• Adequate clearance from overhead powerlines and other hazards
• Any required traffic management, road occupancy permits or council approvals
• Appropriate pedestrian protection, fencing and site signage
• A safe and compliant concrete washout area
• Access to running water for equipment cleaning
• Suitable toilet facilities where required
• Concrete that is appropriate for pumping and ordered in the correct quantity
• Notification of special concrete mixes, additives or concrete above 25 MPa
• Adequate labour to place, vibrate and finish the concrete

The customer is responsible for confirming that the site is ready before the pump arrives. Waiting or standby charges may apply when access, concrete, labour or site preparation causes delays.

POWERLINE SAFETY

Concrete boom pumps must maintain the required safety clearances from overhead powerlines.

Where suitable clearance cannot be achieved, the customer must arrange for the relevant electricity provider to isolate or disconnect the power before pumping begins. Mammoth Concrete Pumping reserves the right to delay or refuse work where site conditions are considered unsafe.

CONCRETE WASHOUT AND WASTE

The customer must provide a suitable washout location that complies with council and environmental requirements.

Mammoth Concrete Pumping does not remove leftover concrete, slurry, spoil, trade waste or washout material from the site unless specifically included in the quote.

CANCELLATIONS AND BOOKING CHANGES

We understand that concrete pours can be affected by weather, site conditions and construction delays. Please provide as much notice as possible if your booking needs to be changed or cancelled.

A minimum hire or cancellation charge may apply when reasonable notice is not provided, including:

• Morning jobs cancelled after 2:00 pm on the previous business day
• Afternoon or evening jobs cancelled after 7:00 am on the day of the pour
• Weather-related cancellations made less than three hours before the scheduled arrival time
• Cancellations made after the pump or operator has commenced travelling to the site

Any cancellation fee will consider the notice provided, travel undertaken and resources allocated to the booking.

DELAYS AND EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWNS

Mammoth Concrete Pumping maintains its equipment to a high standard; however, construction work can be affected by mechanical issues, concrete-supply delays, weather, site access and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a delay occurs, we will communicate with the customer and make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and complete the work safely.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is required in accordance with the terms shown on the accepted quote or invoice.

Additional time, travel, standby, pipeline, labour or equipment requested during the work will be charged as a variation to the original booking.
